get to know your massage therapist

Hi I’m Max, I qualified as a physiotherapist in the Netherlands several years ago, subsequently moving to Tenerife. I was fortunate to work with some top athletes from various disciplines, but predominantly swimmers, where I learnt to appreciate the benefits of deep tissue/ sports massage.

I also managed to work at one of Europe’s top voted spas where I developed a more remedial and holistic approach to massage, and have since amalgamated my knowledge and experience to help drive change by tapping in to the nervous system; encouraging rest, recovery and relaxation and out of stress, pain or disability.

I’m active and sporty, taking particular interests in tennis and football, and have an affinity for health and wellbeing, exercise, my mum’s cooking and downtempo electronic music. I’m currently studying a master in Osteopathy to hone in on my skills, and strive for answers and depth through pain relief and functional adaptation, and very much enjoying it!
